What We Do

HSG is an environmental services firm that helps some of the most ambitious projects on Earth (and beyond) move forward by focusing on reducing risk and increasing resiliency through environmental health, safety, and compliance.

We specialize in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) services across air, water, and land by supporting critical work in energy, commercial data centers, infrastructure, and space. From preparing for test flights to handling hazardous materials to ensuring clean air and water at sites nationwide, we make sure every step meets regulatory standards and exceeds safety expectations.

Think of HSG as your go-to partner when you are ready to develop, build, dig, or launch. Our goal is to help you move faster with less risk, lower cost, and smarter energy use.

We handle permitting, air and water monitoring, hazardous materials removal, emergency preparedness, and community engagement for high-touch, complex, and cost-sensitive projects.

At the end of the day, we support our clients in building value by reducing the risks that come from environmental uncertainty, regulatory complexity, and operational downtime.

Voluntary GHG Emissions Disclosure Statement

HSG, LLC, is a professional services firm providing environmental, sustainability, and compliance support to federal, state, local, and private‑sector clients. While HSG is not subject to mandatory greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting requirements, the company voluntarily tracks and discloses its organizational emissions as part of its commitment to environmental stewardship, transparency, and responsible business operations.

Additional detail on the nature of our GHG reporting is provided below.

Scope and Organizational Boundary

This voluntary disclosure covers HSG’s U.S. operations and reflects emissions associated with activities under the company’s operational control. HSG’s emissions profile is consistent with that of a professional services organization and is primarily associated with office energy use, employee commuting, company‑owned vehicles, and business travel.

Methodology and Standards

HSG estimates and inventories its greenhouse gas emissions using the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Simplified GHG Emissions Calculator. Calculations are aligned with recognized federal guidance and generally accepted GHG accounting principles, including the categorization of emissions into Scope 1 and Scope 2 sources, with selected Scope 3 activities evaluated where data is reasonably available. Emissions are expressed in carbon dioxide equivalent (COâ‚‚e) to ensure consistency and comparability.

Voluntary Nature of Disclosure

This disclosure is provided on a voluntary basis and is intended to support transparency with customers, partners, and stakeholders. It does not represent a regulatory filing, certification, or verification, nor does it imply applicability of mandatory federal or state GHG reporting programs. HSG reserves the right to refine its methodologies and boundaries as guidance, data quality, and best practices continue to evolve.

Continuous Improvement and Risk Awareness

HSG uses its internal GHG inventory to better understand emission drivers, identify efficiency opportunities, and inform operational decision‑making. As an environmental and sustainability consulting firm, HSG recognizes the importance of credible data, defensible methodologies, and clear communication when addressing climate‑related considerations.

Future Updates

HSG intends to periodically review and update its voluntary GHG inventory to maintain accuracy and relevance. Any future disclosures will continue to be grounded in established federal guidance and proportional to the scale and nature of HSG’s operations.
