HSG, LLC, is a professional services firm providing environmental, sustainability, and compliance support to federal, state, local, and private‑sector clients. While HSG is not subject to mandatory greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting requirements, the company voluntarily tracks and discloses its organizational emissions as part of its commitment to environmental stewardship, transparency, and responsible business operations.

Scope and Organizational Boundary
This voluntary disclosure covers HSG’s U.S. operations and reflects emissions associated with activities under the company’s operational control. HSG estimates and inventories its greenhouse gas emissions using the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Simplified GHG Emissions Calculator. Calculations are aligned with recognized federal guidance and generally accepted GHG accounting principles, including the categorization of emissions into Scope 1 and Scope 2 sources, with selected Scope 3 activities evaluated where data is reasonably available. Emissions are expressed in carbon dioxide equivalent (COâ‚‚e) to ensure consistency and comparability.
Voluntary Nature of Disclosure
This disclosure is provided on a voluntary basis and is intended to support transparency with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
